Corpus Christi, Texas

Tyson and I went out at 6:30 am to watch the sunrise and we found tons and tons of washed up jellyfish on the beach. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

Tyson walking along the beach. We didn't get to see the sunrise because it was too cloudy. I was pretty disappointed.

We did get to see the sunset though. This is the view from our room. Our hotel was right on the beach. It was so awesome. We just walked out the back doors and down some stairs and there we were.

Burying Abbie in the sand.

Watching dolphins at the Corpus Aquarium. The lighting in the room made everyone's teeth look blue!

A replica of one of the boats the pilgrims came across in. It was either the Nina or the Pinta. I can't remember. It was pretty small though.

A cool park right by the ocean. Instead of bark or gravel on the ground they had this stuff that was made out of old recycled tires. It was really bouncy and awesome. We were looking at it and this news reporter lady came up to us and was asking questions about what we thought about it. Then she asked if she could film Tyson and ask him some questions about it. Apparently another news chanel did a story about how the recycled tires were hazardous and that chemicals would leak into the ocean. So she was asking questions about if we thought it was safe. So we watched the news that night and Tyson made it on! It was so cool! He was wearing his BYU hat-- way to represent!!

We had a great time on our trip but were so ready to come back to drier air and to sleep in our own beds!
