Potty Training...

Today's the day. We went to Walmart last night and got Lawson some undies so we could start potty training today. I figured the weekend would be a good time to start. We let hime choose his undies. I was showing him his choices-- Elmo, Cars, Diego, etc. He saw Dora and wanted those ones! I told him they were for girls and he sadly said, "Oh." So he chose Cars and Diego. Then Tyson spotted some boxers so we got those and then he spotted toddler sized wife-beaters. Ha Ha! So we HAD to get those as well. When we got home Tyson took Lawson into his room to put his new boxers and wife-beater on to give us a fashion show. Lawson came running out of his room wearing them and was so excited. He was dancing and jumping all around. It was hilarious. So he wore those to bed with a diaper underneath. This morning he went potty and I left his diaper off. So far, so good. I've been putting him on the potty every 30 ish minutes and he pees a few drops. He LOVES flushing the toilet and saying bye bye to the water. We got him a stool so he can reach to wash his hands as well. Yesterday we also got rid of his last fa fa (pacifier). He and Tyson cut off the nipple part and then they threw it away in the garbage. Lawson got a basketball hoop (the kind that hooks on the back of a door) and basketball for doing so. He hasn't asked for his fa fa today. He's turning into such a big boy. It's really weird. So that's our latest. Hopefully we won't have too many potty accidents.
