Just some Lawsonisms...

I still need to post pics from Lawson's birthday and now Christmas. I thought I would post some Lawsonisms while I have a minute.

We are staying at Tyson's dad's house in Utah right now (we leave tomorrow morning to fly back to Texas). While we've been gone, Lawson and Makayla have been sharing a room. It hasn't been bad. Today, however, Makayla woke up crying at 4 am. I went in to give her her "fa fa" (pacifier). Which, by the way, I will be getting rid of soon. When I walked in, Lawson was irritated and said, "Makayla broke my dream!" Not sure what he was dreaming about but he was mad he wasn't dreaming anymore. :)

Before we left Texas for our Christmas vacation, Tyson was at work and I needed to get in the shower. I usually shower during Porter's nap (who is 7 months). I put Makayla (who is 22 months) in her room to play (she can't open doors yet) and Lawson (who is 4) usually watches tv. Lawson and Makayla were playing well together in Makayla's room so I told Lawson I needed to take a shower and to keep playing in her room. I told him not to let Makayla out and to keep the door shut. While I was in the shower, Lawson came in and said, "Mom! Makayla likes to drink pee!" I asked him if he peed in her mouth. He told me no so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and told him to go back to Makayla's room to play and to keep the door shut. I finished showering and got dressed. I could hear them out in the kitchen so I hurried. I went out and Makayla was sitting at the table with her sippy cup. Lawson said, "Mom, I peed in the potty." He's been potty-trained for nearly 2 years now and doesn't tell me when he pees in the potty anymore so that made me suspicious. I noticed dribble on Makayla's shirt and she was holding her sippy cup. I took the cup from her and unscrewed the lid. I sniffed the liquid inside and sure enough-- warm pee!!! I guess he didn't pee in her mouth per say so he wasn't lying when I asked him. :) He sat in time-out for about 30 minutes and was threatened that if he did that again he would be drinking his own pee! I'm beginning to understand that peeing in things is a "boy thing." As I've told this story to others, I've been enlightened on other similar stories. I guess I'm not alone!

Haha! So your kids have seperate rooms at home? Wish we had a set-up like that. My kids share a room. And that second story- I kinda made me gag. Funny, but definitely gag-worthy.
