Death...

A couple of months ago Lawson (age 4 1/2) was talking about how he didn't want to die and was asking lots of questions about death. Makayla (age 2) piped up and said something about how she didn't want to die because her pants would fall off. We laughed hysterically but wasn't sure what she was talking about. I figured it was something she'd seen on one of her shows. Since then she has said the same thing on a few different occasions- each time making us laugh. She said it at dinner a couple of nights ago and it donned on Tyson that she was talking about Back to the Future. She was referring to the part when Marty goes back to the past and starts disappearing from the waist down in the photograph he had taken with him. Tyson had explained to the kids that Marty might die so Makayla took that as: if I die, my pants will fall off!! What a funny girl!!
